Yesterday, I shared my new plan with you all – to pray, prioritize, and then rest. Some of you shared your struggles and what God has taught you, and I am so thankful.
I also promised to share my new planner (I am way excited – so is Kyle, you could all imagine the excitment on his face). Anyway, here is the breakdown:
First, it is cute. Don’t you think? It makes me want to carry it around and actually use it.
Second, it has monthly calendars all on one page as well as places to make notes throughout and extra pages at the end. A nice added bonus.
Third, it has a week at a time broken into morning, day, and night, along with a to-do list space.
At the end, it has a pocket for extra papers and a zip bag to put writing utensils and such.
To say the least, I am excited, but not just about the planner. God and I are on a new plan, too. I am making a new commitment to pray – and listen – before my day starts and make sure the things I am doing are what God would have me to do. He has a plan. I simply need to follow it. My desire is to do the things He has called me to do, no more and no less, and to do them well.
Feel free to share your challenges and successes in this department as well. I am still learning (and praying) to be exactly what God has made me to be. My planner is a work in progress. But an even more important work is the one God is doing in me.
I am praying Proverbs 19:21, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
